Our motto runs "Eat well – be well". 

The fact that we are the founding members of the Stílusos Vidéki Éttermiség (Stylish Rural Restaurateurs Association) says it all. Offering quality cuisine in our Noszvaj restaurant is at the heart of our mission. We believe in the more lively approach to restaurant culture: while taking our respect for traditions very seriously, we place great emphasis on redefining the best Hungarian dishes. We have also been keen to bring our most exciting gastronomic experiences from our travels back to our kitchen.

Quality ingredients

Our Trakta by Nomad restaurant uses ingredients sourced from Noszvaj and the Noszvaj region as much as possible. We constantly check the products from our selected suppliers, and we also keep an eye on the region and the world to make sure that we don't miss out on anything new. We represent a traditional – but cheekily evolving – school of gastronomy.

We ask nonhotel guests to book tables online or by phone, whether they want to try our breakfast, have an à la carte lunch or experience our famous Trakta dinner with 3- and 5course meal options.

Traditional flavours, modern cuisine

Each night’s stay automatically comes with our legendary “Nomad breakfast, a real treat if we go by the feedback, and more than just a generous Nomadstyle smorgasbord, but a sustainable offering made using ingredients sourced from the local Noszvaj region. Spreads, pâtés, cheeses, hams and sausages from local producers, egg dishes, seasonal vegetables, speciality coffees and the kind of limitlessness that is all but impossible to resist, between 8.00 a.m. and 10.00 a.m.

We offer an à la carte lunch with a limited, seasonal menu, from 12.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m. Booking is optional, but recommended, on +3636463363

Dinner

We offer dinners of 3 or 5 courses, varying daily, in the spirit of reinterpreted tradition and abundance. And of course relying on our potager and vegetable garden. 

We know when and from who to obtain each of our ingredients, and so dishes are prepared based on what the ingredients at hand inspire the Chef to cook. Between 6.00 p.m. and 8.00 p.m. 

You can rely on our expertise. Please let us know of any special dietary needs or food allergies you may have. 

Occasionally we also organise special evenings. Just recently, we have had a “fourhanded mangalica dinner” with Ádám Pohner, the Chef at Iszkor-Mályinka.
